Pajo

it was more like a dream than reality

I have become less of a quiet person
over the years
I play quiet music
as loud as possible

after an afternoon of reacquainting ourselves
we hopped on a train to philly
to see stereolab

after the show
we went to a bar with the band
and had our first night of non-drinking
together

it was awfully nice

oh god I've already bored myself to tears

but here we go:

we had no clue where to stay
so the queen of philly put us up
in her remarkable apartment
with pillow and blankets and unopened toothbrush

in the morning
we competed with the hammering
outside the door
on a stranger's floor

then off through the eighteenth century
and back to nyc
for her annual visit to the graveyard
and my daily visit to the shower

we made something happen in central park
with trembling earth below and
birdies chirp chirp too

we made something neither will soon forget
and unlike the other things
its not what you're thinking

then the kitties with their love true
I increasingly lost touch with my mind
our foolish attempt at television
shut us down

she was so hot above me
and me, I was too I suppose
but other pains of age distanced me from myself

but I broke through another layer
and found myself in a deeper
more excquisite
unknown

until morning when she arose
and we had to untangle
our items from each other

and yes, I've bored myself again
and probably you too
I apologize for my ennui

It seems this marks your first real Livejournal post. Hahaha, boredom is what has formed this petty group of interconnected "people" (Let's hope they are people) and that's how it will continue. Oh, and I love Pac-Man.

I dont find your ennui boring at all,it's reaffirming that its part of everyones life ,good luck on the not drinking together. There is life on the other side of it not just boredom.
Your writting is beautiful.
